Two traditional airs for harp
$11.00
These two airs, arranged for harp by Kelly Stewart, are a beautiful and thoughtful addition to the repertoire. The first, Al Lizer Kanet, is a Breton song transcribed by Rosalind Buda. It's strikingly simple and repetitive and begs to be played slowly and lovingly. The second tune, The Showers of Rain, comes from the manuscript of Edward Bunting and the harp festival of 1792. The first verse is transcribed directly from Bunting's original writing, while the second is truer to the version he published some twenty years later.
Verses one of each arrangement are simple, for advanced beginners, and verse two is more complicated. Play one or both!
