Theory Class for Harpists

Theory for and from the harp! This 6 week course will cover all of the basics of music theory you need as a beginning or intermediate harpist. The class will be held once a week over zoom, with all sessions being recorded and available to you at any time.

We will cover all of the things that you need to thrive in your practice AND explain why it all matters. Tuning, key and time signatures, rhythm study, chord structures, and so much more! While no prior knowledge is expected, students should be willing to study on their own to learn to read music in treble and bass clefs if necessary.

Class will be held live via Zoom, beginning the evening of Tuesday, January 6 and will continue through February 10. 7-8:30PM ET
